Measured Term Contract - Building Refurbishment Works

Tender description

The Trust are looking to appoint Measured Term Contractor(s) to undertake various building refurbishment/alteration/upgrade works of an isolated nature across a number of their existing facilities. They are seeking to appoint the Contractor(s) on a minimum three year basis with the option to extend the commission for a fourth and possibly a fifth year. There are two main sites for the works, namely:- 1) Gloucester Royal Hospital, Great Western Road, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, GL1 3NN and 2) Cheltenham General Hospital, Sandford Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL53 7AN. However the Trust has a number of other facilities, generally within a 10 mile radius of the main Gloucester Royal Hospital where they will also be looking to undertake various works. The contractor is advised that there may be instances where the works required to be undertaken are predominantly Mechanical or Electrical. Where this is the case, the Trust may seek to undertake these works under a separate Mechanical Measured Term Contract or Electrical Measured Term Contract which they are setting up in tandem with this Contract.
