Provision of 5 voluntary insurances, discount shopping vouchers and personal computing as part of National Grid Gas Distribution Ltd's Employee (Flexible) Benefit programme. Via the Employee (Flexible) Benefits scheme, employees can elect to purchase Voluntary Critical Illness cover for themselves and their dependants. These are currently selected on an annual basis. Employees currently receive company paid cover but in addition they can, via the Flexible Benefits scheme, select Voluntary Personal Accident cover for themselves and their dependants. It also provides the user an opportunity to order reloadable cards to use with retailers plus there is a prepaid MasterCard which offers cashback on expenditure with certain retailers.
