Tender description

The main purpose of this Contract is to provide a daily (on weekdays) transport service which ensures the delivery of requested material in a secure and timely manner to the British Library's site at St Pancras in London and their return to storage to the Library's site near Wetherby, West Yorkshire. The material is largely Collection items transported either in skips stacked on pallets or in closed trolleys. Internal post is also carried, plus other items in roll cages or palletised, as the vehicle capacity allows.
