Tender description
Procurement of a domestic abuse training programme. SafeLives has developed a specific domestic abuse change programme with the College of Policing, entitled ‘Domestic Abuse Matters’. The contract will deliver training to 2 309 first responders in Sussex Police. The training is designed to focus on the issue of domestic abuse and coercive controlling behaviour, in order to implement a long-term attitudinal and behavioural change in the Force. Sussex Police believes this to be the only recognized training course of this type, that is licensed with the College of Policing, that is available at the present time. Sussex Police will contract with SafeLives in order to achieve the license to deliver the content internally on an ongoing basis.
