Project 1489 - Playground Works and PE Store Extension at Sacred Heart School

Southend Borough Council on behalf of Sacred Heart Primary School are seeking contractors to carry out playground works and an extension at the School. The works will include The demolition of the existing PE Store within the playground. The removal of existing surfaces and grass within the playground. Laying new tarmac and tarmac sports surface within the playground Resurfacing the existing tarmac playground. Providing a new extension to the existing school building to extend the existing Classbase, cloak area and provide a new PE Store. Works to the existing boiler room to accommodate the new extension including alternative ventilation at Sacred Heart Primary School Comprehensive drawings and a specification will be issued to contractors who express an interest and the works will be carried out under a JCT Minor Works Contract with Design. The tenders will be considered against an evaluation ratio of 80% for price and 20% for quality. The proposed commencement date of this project is 24th July 2017 and we anticipate a 10 week programme of works.
