TC044 Winter Festival Events Service Framework

Tender description

The Authority is inviting companies to submit proposals for the design and delivery of core elements within its Winter Festival. These components have been split into the following lots: Lot 1 – Ice Rink Lot 2 – Giant Snow Slide Lot 3 – Christmas Grotto Lot 4 – Christmas Market Lot 5 – Activity Staff The Winter Festival has gone from strength to strength with visitor numbers and ticket sales increasing each year. The Authority has developed a successful formula for the key winter components and wants to ensure its future sustainability. The Authority plans to implement a Framework of suppliers that can be utilised for the next 2 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year and additional 1 year after that. The Winter Festival takes place over a period of approximately 5 weeks (6 weekends) covering December and early January. Festival activity and load in/load out dates are agreed 9 months prior to the Festival start date. The dates for 2017/18 have been agreed and will commence Saturday 2 December 2017 and operate until Sunday 7 January 2018. Each activity has a different duration and load in/load out date as indicated in the information about each lot. Site Visits Site Visits will take place on Wednesday 31st May and Friday 9th June, by appointment only between the hours of 10am-4pm.
