Tender description

NHS Lanarkshire requires a single Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to support all five laboratory disciplines throughout NHS Lanarkshire. The solution must therefore be capable of managing Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Blood Transfusion, Microbiology and Cellular Pathology information across all 3 acute hosiptal sites. A variety of staff will be expected to use the system in some including laboratory users and laboratory service manager as well as clinicians whop require web browser access to laboratory results. It is therefore essential that suppliers can demonstrate and evidence how their system can be used in the settings described above.
