Tender description

The servicing, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of existing passenger and goods lifts and associated equipment installed within various residential housing blocks and public buildings within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The routine servicing, maintenance and repair of 353 passenger and goods lifts and associated equipment to the Housing Stock and Public Buildings owned by the Authority within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The services include for: a) The service, maintenance and repair of existing passenger lifts in Council and Public buildings across the Borough; b) Carrying out ten annual services to 320 passenger lifts; c) Carrying out quarterly servicing to dumb waiters; d) Carrying out fortnightly servicing of 2x passenger lifts at the Greenwich Foot Tunnels; e) Carrying out fortnightly servicing of 2x passenger lifts at the Woolwich Foot Tunnels; f) Provide a breakdown service for lifts borough wide; g) Asbestos removal or encapsulation works where required.
