Tender description
The proposed contract is for the provision of driver training to the Environment Agency, to include off road driving in 4-wheel drive vehicles and ATVs, on and off road trailer handling including B+E testing and load safety. This Prior Information Notice is provided alongside supporting documentation regarding the above requirement. This supporting information can be located within Bravo, an online e-tendering portal therefore you will find the ‘opportunity’ and supporting information within the Bravo system. https://defra.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html Following the link to register on the Bravo portal, click on the ‘Register now’ button. Guidance on how to register is available under the ‘click here for details on how to register’ link. All queries regarding using the system that are not answered by the guidance section should be directed to the eSourcing Helpdesk run by BravoSolution (the suppliers of the portal). 4-wheel drive training to cover: — Off road initial training including assessment; — Off road assessment; — Off road refresher including re assessment (for assessment failures). Estimated volume of courses per annum: 310. ATV training to cover: — ATV — sit astride/inside initial training including assessment; — ATV — sit astride/inside assessment; — ATV — sit inside/astride refresher including re-assessment (for assessment failures). Estimated volume of courses per annum: 10. Trailer towing training to cover: — On road initial training, including B+E test; — On road B+E retest (including extra practice/revision); — Off road initial training, including assessment; — On road assessment; — On and off road assessment; — On and off road refresher including re assessment (for assessment failures). Estimated volume of courses per annum: 200. Load safety to cover: — A stand-alone course covering correct vehicle and trailer choice, load securing, lashing, sheeting, netting, regular checks, load positioning, off road options. Estimated volume of courses per annum: to be confirmed.
