Highgate Wood Secondary School AREA TO BE CLEANED: Entrance, Reception, Office Space, Meeting Room, Classrooms, Studio, Halls, Gym, Stairs, Landings, Dining Room, Staff Room, Changing Rooms and Toilets on the Ground to Fourth Floors FREQUENCY: Five Days Per Week - Monday To Friday ENTRANCE AND RECEPTION DAILY DUTIES ENTRANCE DOOR The entrance door will be dusted, and the glasswork spot cleaned. DOOR FITTINGS These will be sanitised and dry buffed. WASTEPAPER BINS These will be emptied, waste disposed of as directed, bin liner to be replaced as necessary. FLOORS All hard floor areas will be fully swept and washed. WEEKLY DUTIES FIXTURES AND FITTINGS Radiators, light switches, lamps, etc. will be dusted and fingermarks removed. LAMINATED FURNITURE This will be cleaned with an appropriate solution. SKIRTING BOARDS All skirting boards will be damp wiped. WINDOW LEDGES These will be damp wiped and burnished. MOULDINGS Decorative moulding will be dusted. MONTHLY DUTIES FURNITURE The legs of chairs and desks, etc. will be cleaned and buffed. Finger marks will be removed from drawer fronts, desk surrounds and filing cabinets. UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE All upholstered furniture will be vacuum cleaned. QUARTERLY DUTIES DOOR TOPS All door tops, high ledges and areas within arms reach, will be dusted. OFFICE SPACE AND MEETING ROOM DAILY DUTIES WASTEPAPER BINS These will be emptied, waste disposed of as directed, bin liner to be replaced as necessary. DE...ITTINGS Radiators, light switches, lamps, etc. will be dusted and fingermarks removed. SKIRTINGS These will be washed using a disinfectant. MOULDINGS Decorative moulding will be dusted. FRIDGES Fridges will be wiped clean. MONTHLY DUTIES DOOR TOPS All door tops, high ledges and areas within arms reach, will be dusted. CHANGING ROOMS AND TOILETS DAILY DUTIES WASH BASINS These will be fully cleaned and limescale will be removed from the taps, etc. SPLASHBACKS These will be cleaned and dry buffed. MIRRORS These will be cleaned and dry buffed. TOILET BOWLS These will be fully cleaned and sanitised. TOILET SEATS These will be fully cleaned and sanitised on both sides. URINALS These will be fully scoured and sanitised. SHOWERS The tiles, floorpan and door will be fully sanitised. All nozzles and controls will be polished, any limescale to be removed. BINS These will be emptied, damp wiped and sanitised. FLOORS These will be swept and washed using a disinfectant. REQUISITES Consumable items such as toilet rolls, hand towels and soap will be replenished as necessary. WEEKLY DUTIES FIXTURES AND FITTINGS Radiators, light switches, lamps, etc. will be dusted and fingermarks removed. SKIRTINGS These will be washed using a disinfectant. MOULDINGS Decorative moulding will be dusted. TILES The wall tiles will be washed with a sanitising solution and dry buffed.
