Selby District Council (“The Council”) comprises an area of 60,140 hectares, much of which is rural in nature with a number of dwellings situated in isolated locations. The main urban areas are Selby, Tadcaster and Sherburn in Elmet. The population as at 2011 was estimated at 83,600 with approximately 38,099 separate dwellings registered for Council Tax as of September 2016. The Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to undertake a comprehensive Pest Control Service throughout the district. Tenderers are expected to demonstrate within the documentation provided by them that they can provide a professional service through the employment of competent and adequately trained technicians, including holiday and sickness cover and that they have an appropriate recording system to itemise details of all work carried out. throughout the district.
