The Norwegian Correctional Services, and in particular the Directorate of Correctional Services (KDI) has a regular need for expertise in the entire ICT area. The Contracting Authority has good internal all-round competence in the field and mainly has, therefore, a need for expertise within the different services specified below, but not limited to them. Futhermore, at times there will also be a need for more general ICT — Operations competence in order to help at times when our personnel have a heavy workload. Infrastructure — ‘Compute’ and storage. — Optimisation of servers and databases (OS and db-engines). — Assist with implementing and using new technology. — Competence within: — VmWare — Data Processing Centre. — Cisco Server (UCS Blades). — EMC storage (SAN, DataDomain, RecoveryPoint). — HP server and storage (Blade and Rack, 3Par). — Optimisation of operation and operation routines. — Assistance with the preparation of new operation concepts. — Security copy systems. — Veeam. — Networks. — etc. (the list is not exhaustive). Network technology — Network problems (WLAN, WAN, VLAN, LAN, WiFi). — Cisco products. — Firewall. — Router. — Switch. — Cisco Meraki. — etc. (the list is not exhaustive).
