Tender description

Hampshire County Council invited applications from suitably experienced organisations who wished to be considered for selection to tender for a Framework Agreement for Commercial Waste Collection, Disposal and Recycling Services. The Framework will commence May 2017 and will be for a period of four years. The Term of the Call Off Contracts will be for up to a maximum of seven years on a year by year basis subject to satisfactory performance by the Supplier commencing 1.7.2017. The purpose of this Framework Agreement is for deployment of Waste collection, disposal and recycling services which may take place by calling-off and placing orders for Services. The Supplier is required to collect, reuse, recycle and dispose of the following Waste Streams on behalf of the Core Authorities and the other Contracting Authorities Residual waste, Dry Mixed Recyclates (DMR), Food and Green waste, Glass & Metal waste, Confidential and sensitive waste, Hazardous waste including vehicle workshop waste, Sanitary, Offensive and Clinical waste, Bulky (including reuse), WEEE and IT and Illicit waste. The quantities of each Waste Stream will vary according to the requirements of the individual Contracting Authorities procuring Call-Off Contracts under this Framework.
