This is all against a backdrop of the incoming General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) Problem to Be Solved LSHTM would like to identify and secure the a strategic partner to assist with this change programme. We seek a collaborative partner with the right skills to help deliver to the vision, requirements and constraints outlined below and to assist us on the early phases of transforming systems/process integration, data management, business intelligence and infrastructure. Having successfully worked on projects in this field and reading your requirement in detail, we believe that this deliverable could be achieved by a sole data architect. As this is an outcome, would it be fair to assume you intended this requirement to be fulfilled by a team? If this is the case, can you explain the reasoning for a team approach?” Suppliers can suggest it is resourced however they see fit. 2. How did you estimate the 6-8 week time frame for delivery of all Expected output artefacts? Ideally we would like this activity completed in a 6 to 8 week period. 3. Would it be possible to have a open telephonic discussion with all interested suppliers to facilitate general questions about scope, details and preferences? This is an accepted practice at digital marketplace as all the answers are later posted here. LSHTM do not believe it is possible to facilitate a general discussion in this way in the timelines suggested. 4. Who comprise of the IT Services Team at LSHTM? Would Product owner, Project manager and / or developers be available to work as one team? The various roles involved are from different departments across the School, i.e. data controllers across the departments, including IT and some resource will involved will come from IT, but forming as a project based matrix team rather than a formal team. 5. Are you able to share your KPI's at this point? LSHTM have some draft KPIs currently, but not for sharing at this point and we see the evolution of KPIs as part of this work 6. How many data formats would the ETL have to import? Data formats via ETL, there will be many however they are currently unknown until work is done 7. Will any more detailed scope/requirement information be provided in the later stages of the process? If so, what will be provided and at what stage? LSHTM don’t think further detail is needed at this point, it should be clear what we are looking for.
