Tender description

This procurement is for re-tendering of the corporate mobile phone contract which is to be provided through one contract under Lead Provider arrangements. Currently the Council has 2 corporate contracts with the Service Providers O2 and T-Mobile. The O2 contract has 1284 handsets; 763 of which are smartphones and 521 basic handsets, 45 blackberry devices, and 147 tablets, 136 are Apple devices with the remaining 11 being a mixture of other makes. T-Mobile has 390 basic handsets, with no tablets. These are the current number of devices; however the contracted totals may vary. The aims of the tender are as follows: — To provide the Council with a managed mobile telephony service that enables the Council with the ability to administer all day-to-day aspects of the service. — To provide the Council with a single bill for all mobile telephony services with detailed information to enable the efficient and effective monitoring and auditing of calls and charges. Reports should include the following information: — Call reporting — Usage summary — Graphs — Roaming and International usage — Average spend — Billing — On demand reporting — To manage the migration from current contracts to a new contract — To manage the existing Blackberry / Smartphone services with all existing policies — To provide the Council Departments with a managed Blackberry / Smartphone that enables the ICT service to administer the day to day aspects of the service — To supply the Council with all handsets (network unblocked) as required — To provide the Council with a hardware fund for devices and or use as airtime credit.
