Tender description

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is planning a future procurement exercise to appoint a partner to form a long term venture to regenerate the Cambridge Road Estate in Kingston and deliver circa 2 000 new mixed-tenure homes. Further information will be made available during May and June 2017. The opportunity is a major regeneration and development project to regenerate the 8.6 hectare Cambridge Road Estate and deliver circa 2 000 new mixed-tenure homes including replacement homes for current residents. The Council wishes to partner with an organisation that can jointly plan, design, fund and deliver a comprehensive regeneration of the estate over a circa 10 year period. The Council will undertake a short soft market testing exercise prior to the Contract Notice being issued.
