Tender description
The UK is one of the world's leading destinations for Foreign Direct Investment. In 2015/16 alone the UK attracted 2,213 investment projects from overseas which created 82,660 new jobs. As a critical enabler to this success the Department provides support to investors and partners. The services include marketing of the UK investment proposition, provision of insight and support to DIT staff globally, account and project management of prospective and active investors. As set out in the Building our Industrial Strategy green paper, the Department is reviewing how to focus this support on inward investment that most contributes to wealth creation for the UK. The department will host supplier engagement events in Summer 2017 to outline its future model and to identify organisations interested in delivering the required services. To receive invitations for the events please register with the Department via the Department's e-sourcing suite (available from 21.4.2017). The Department for International Trade is seeking market input to inform the way in which its Investment Support Services should be delivered.
