Tender description

Adult Services and Children's Services for Social Work provides transport to a variety of purposes to a cross section of vulnerable service users. The Contractor shall provide the Services detailed in this specification to Service Users determined by the Council, These journeys will commence and / or terminate within Falkirk Council area. The journey may involve travel to / from another Council area but either start point or end point will be within Falkirk Council area. The Service will be required to be available 24 hours per day, 365 days a year, Monday to Friday (unless otherwise stated) and weekends, bank holidays and public holidays. Framework for the Provision of a Taxi and Private Hire Passenger Transport Service to a cross section of vulnerable service users. The Contractor shall provide the Services detailed in this specification to Service Users determined by the Council. The journeys will commence and / or terminate within Falkirk Council area. Overall contract is estimated at 1 270 000 GBP. The Service will be required to be available 24 hours per day, 365 days a year, Monday to Friday (unless otherwise stated) and weekends, bank holidays and public holidays.
