Tender description

Nottinghamshire County Council (the “Authority” also referred to as the “Council”) provides a range of transport services across the County, which are co-ordinated by Nottinghamshire Transport and Travel Services (“TTS”) based at Trent Bridge House, Fox Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 6BJ. Over the next 3 years, as part of the Local Transport Plan, NTS will continue to install bus shelters and bus stop poles at new locations and upgrade existing bus infrastructure to a consistent standard countywide. It is expected this will amount to a total of up to 25 shelters per year, of which 90% will be glazed and 10% will be timber and a total. The successful tender will be available to be utilised by the other authorities in the East Midlands region. These councils are Nottingham City, Leicester City, Leicestershire County, Derby City, Derbyshire County, Rutland County, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. The contract shall be for a period of 3 years, with a possible 1 year extension.
