Tender description
Portsmouth City Council is inviting expressions of interest from experienced providers to deliver high standard grounds maintenance services at Portchester Crematorium. Portchester Crematorium is situated in the borough of Fareham and is managed jointly by a committee from 4 local authorities consisting of Fareham, Gosport, Havant and Portsmouth. The grounds are extensively landscaped and typical areas of maintenance include lawns and flower, shrub, rose and heather beds. Hedges, ponds, rockery, bulb borders and internal display are also included. The contract will commence on 2.1.2018 and will run for an initial base term of 5 years extendible in increments to be agreed, subject to the agreement and performance of both parties, to a maximum total term of 10 years. The estimated value of the contract is approx. 60 000 GBP per annum. Refer to Section II.1.4) above.
