Tender description
Gateshead Council, in association with the Schools Go Smarter (SGS) Programme currently being planned across the North East Combined Authority (NECA) region, have commissioned delivery of active travel promotion in its schools. Gateshead Council, in association with the Schools Go Smarter (SGS) Programme currently being planned across the North East Combined Authority (NECA) region, have commissioned delivery of active travel promotion in its schools. A team of appropriately qualified and experienced staff are required for Gateshead's delivery of ‘Schools Go Smarter — Active Travel Promotion’. A programme of activity, including the promotion of walking, cycling and scooting to school, is to be drawn up and delivered in approximately 30 Gateshead schools during the period 1.4.2017 to 31.7.2018. The contract will have an initial duration of 16 months, and there will be an option to extend for 2 x 12 months. Please note that a branded ‘product’ will not be suitable to fulfil this requirement. All activity is to be delivered solely under the SGS brand.
