Tender description

Supply and Installation Of Bus Shelters. Over the next 3 years, as part of the Local Transport Plan, TTS will continue to install bus shelters and bus stop poles at new locations and upgrade existing bus infrastructure to a consistent standard county-wide. It is expected this will amount to a total of up to 30 shelters per year, of which 85 % will be glazed, 10 % will be timber and 5 % conservation. The successful tender will be available to be utilised by the other authorities in the East Midlands region. These councils are Nottingham City, Leicester City, Leicestershire County, Derby City, Derbyshire County, Rutland County, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. The contract shall be for a period of 3 years, Commencing 1.7.2017 with a possible 1 year extension. Lot 1 is for the supply and installation of Glazed (glass or polycarbonate) bus shelters.
