Tender description

Choice Housing Ireland wish to engage the services of a suitably experienced and competent main contractor to undertake the remodelling / re-improvement works at 13 - 17 Claremont Street, Belfast. The scheme comprises 3nr 3 storey terraced properties currently arranged into 3nr 2P, 1B Self-contained flats located on the ground floors and 3nr x 4P, 4B Shared flats located over the 1st and 2nd floors. The proposed remodelling will provide 2nr 2P, 1B Self-contained ground floor flats, 2nr 3P, 2B Self-contained first floor maisonette flats and 1nr 5P, 3B Dwelling. Works include: — Window replacements; — External door replacements; — External render repairs; — Kitchen Replacements; — Replacement bathrooms; — Replacement of internal doors, frames, architraves, skirting etc.; — Improvements to internal layouts; — Plumbing installations; — Electrical installations; — Fire detection upgrades; — Modifications to heating installations; — External works including redecoration and repair or replacement of defective hard surfaces. The premises will remain occupied throughout the duration of the works. The initial works duration estimate for the project is 16 weeks.
