Tender description

Warwick District Council has a statutory duty to provide temporary emergency accommodation for those it considers homeless under the 1996 Housing Act. Initially, when a person approaches the council as homeless, they are placed in emergency temporary accommodation, provided they are assessed as being eligible for assistance and in priority need. On occasions when the Council is not able to provide this accommodation itself it needs to book rooms within the private sector. Soft market testing exercise and does not form part of any competition to procure any goods, services or works for Warwick District Council.
