Tender description
The Council is looking to let a contract for the provision of support, maintenance and enhancement of a number of our existing bespoke systems. The contract would be for 1 year with the option of a second year. It would have a low fixed cost element and have a variable element based upon the number of support incidents and changes each month. A call-off basis could be acceptable. Our anticipated budget is below £100k. The Council is keen to understand options for shorter or longer contract periods. The Council has an existing in-house team which provides 2nd line support and systems admin, however we wish to supplement this with deeper technical skills and the ability to respond to complex incidents and make changes. The Council’s service desk (1st line support) is provided by Capita who are the Council’s primary outsource partner. All IPR on developed code and documentation to remain with the Council.
