Tender description

Bracknell Forest Council (the Council) are seeking a contractor to provide a Support with Confidence Service. This involves people with social care needs who either pay for this care themselves or use a direct payment may choose to employ support from Personal Assistants (PAs). The Support with Confidence scheme provides a list of self employed PAs who have been approved, demonstrating that they have undergone the appropriate training and met background checks. This contract is between the Council and the provider. The provider will carry out background checks, provide training for and maintain a database of approved PAs. The provider will also assist people to arrange their support using this database. The provider will not directly employ any PAs. Total contract value estimated based on maximum contract length of 5 years.
