Tender description

This PIN is issued to alert the market about the intended procurement of capital works to a primary school in New Barnet, London. This Scheme is being procured pursuant to the Priority School Building programme (‘PSBP’). The estimated value of the works is below the EU works threshold; therefore the contract opportunity will be advertised on Contracts Finder Only. The purpose of this PIN is to raise market awareness about the planned procurement and promote early bidder interest. A Bidders Day is being held at 10:00 on 3.5.2017 at Cromer Road Primary School to provide further information about the Scheme. Please note that there will be a limit of 2 people per organisation and subject to venue capacity. The Scheme involves works to defined blocks of the school, consisting of medium refurbishment, demolition and construction of a new build block (of 603 m2 Gross Area to re-provide the demolished blocks). The medium refurbishment includes potential removal of asbestos, drainage works, floor renewals, isolated repairs to ceilings and walls, renewal of doors and windows, renewal of sanitary fittings and partial redecorations. Economic Operators should note that this contract opportunity shall Only be advertised on Contracts Finder due to its value (Section II.3) — A contract notice shall Not be published in the OJEU). It is intended that the advert shall be issued on Contracts Finder during w/c 18.4.2017. Deadline for tenders is envisaged for 31.5.2017 (Dates are subject to change).
