The National College for High Speed Rail (The College) is a new college that is being established to deliver specialist education to enable a UK workforce to deliver HS2 and other rail related projects. The College's vision is to deliver training at the cutting edge of technology and to embed technology throughout the fabric of the College and the experience for learners, teachers and users. The College seeks to create a state-of-the-art teaching, learning and customer experience. To this end, the College is seeking an innovative Digital Signage and Wayfinding partner who can demonstrate leading edge solutions. The preferred supplier will have experience in providing solutions into the education market sector. The College seeks to create a state-of-the-art teaching, learning and customer experience. To this end, the College is seeking an innovative Digital Signage and Way-finding partner who can demonstrate leading edge solutions. The preferred supplier will have experience in providing solutions into the education market sector. The supplier will offer a complete wrap of services, including: — Consultation- Pre and Post Sales. — Project Management. — Vendor Qualified Installation Team with skill sets in Digital Signage and Way-finding Installation, Data Networking and Electrical Services. — On-site and remote Support. — Training Facilities and external trainers. The successful organisation must be agile and flexible to meet the College's evolving requirements The College requires a cloud based Digital Signage and Way-finding system to create, manage and display visually appealing digital content across multiple locations on both College sites. The solution will have up to 700 users in year one and phase up to 2 450 users in year three. The estimated number of users is not concurrent. The solution will be required to incorporate a number of 16/8 usage LED panels internal and external to the main College building. The solution will need to be implemented by July 2017. The solution needs to be capable of: — Managing video walls and off-site panels. — Displaying and managing a digital reception area. — Integrating with internal room booking and management system. — Displaying interactive maps of the College sites that integrate with a mobile application. — Registering and supporting external visitors.
