Tender description

The London Libraries Consortium (LLC) is a group of library services serving 18 local authorities, namely Barking and Dagenham, Bexley, Brent, Bromley, Ealing, Enfield, Hackney, Harrow, Havering, Kingston upon Thames, Lewisham, Luton, Merton, Newham, Redbridge, Sutton, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham Forest. The LLC has appointed a Courier Services through a Framework Agreement following an open tendering exercise to secure the safe and prompt movement of library stock (books) and other goods (CDs, DVDs, etc.) within the local authority (internal) libraries and between libraries in the LLC (external). The Framework Agreement will be for 4 years from 1.4.2017. The contracting authorities will call off from the framework from 1.4.2017 for a period of 12 months. This call off can be renewed on an annual basis for no more than a further 3 years. On behalf of the London Libraries Consortium (LLC) the London Borough of Lewisham has conducted a procurement exercise to establish a Framework agreement for courier services to secure the safe and prompt movement of library stock (books) and other goods (CDs, DVDs, etc.) within the local authority (internal) libraries and between libraries in the LLC (external).
