Tender description

The Irish Maritime Development Office (IMDO), is incorporated within the Marine Institute, a semi State body. The IMDO wishes to invite tenders for the supply of consulting services on Maritime policy and development, with a focus on EU policy and tendering. At present a requirement exists for a consultant to provide briefings on current and incoming EU maritime transport policies. In particular, providing advice on funding opportunities that will enable Irish companies to secure EU funding for creation or expansion of commercial and/or research services. The consultant will maintain the currency of IMDO research on pertinent National and EU maritime transport policies both current and proposed. The consultant will also be responsible for attending relevant expert working group meetings, and following consultation with the IMDO management team, provide input and assessment on how policy may impact Irish Maritime Transport Policy. The contractor will be engaged for up to 100 days per annum for a 3 year period
