Tender description

This PIN is to notify the market of a market engagement event to be held by ECC to discuss the Independent Living project being developed. This will include a presentation to the attendees, and will cover: Scope of the project and the need in Essex; Structure of the schemes and relationship between providers and ECC; Upcoming procurement exercises and opportunities; future procurement plans; questions from providers and feedback on plans. This event will be held on 25.4.2017 from 10:00 to 12:00 (please note: details are subject to change but details will be finalised in advance) in Chelmsford (location TBC). Expressions of interest must be received not later than Wednesday 19.4.2017. Subject to the completion of the Council's governance process, the Independent Living project aims to facilitate the building of a number of Independent Living / Extra Care schemes across Essex over the next 7 years. This will be achieved through the release of public land to providers to privately finance, develop, and build new schemes to serve the residents of Essex and those on the ECC social care register. Further details on the scope of the project and procurement processes will follow in due course.
