Tender description

To provide aviation security services to Liverpool John Lennon Airport, including and not limited to: 1) Pass office Provision; 2) Passenger screening; 3) Staff screening; 4) Vehicle access and screening; 5) Patrolling and security of the airport site; 6) Producing and implementing procedures to comply with the ASP and NASP requirements; 7) Testing all security equipment; 8) Efficiency, productivity and compliance of all access points; 9) Recruitment, Management and training and motivation of the security team; 10) Robust security process and technology innovation for advancement and improvement; 11) Meeting high compliance standards and targets set by both CAA and LAL. Tenders are requested for the provision of security services for Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The contract will include a close and transparent relationship with LAL to deliver a safe, compliant, and customer orientated service. Tenders will embrace new technologies and methods of work to deliver an operationally efficient and customer focused service and will seek to provide ways to improve the working environments, the efficiencies in each area and enhance the customer experience for our passengers and business partners. Providers are invited to submit proposals having experience of UK aviation legislation and procedures and having experience in complying to EU and UK legislation and compliance standards. Specific areas for focus include: — Recruitment and training of all security personnel. — Communicating and training airport procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. — Operating and testing advanced security equipment including ETD, X-Ray, WTMD, Security Scanner, HHMD, MMTD. — Maintaining and evaluating staff competence through various means to include TIP, SeMS, NXCT. — Management of a large team across a range of different posts and skill sets, across the airport site.
