Second-hand transport vehicles

Tender description

The Police forces of the UK, operate in excess of 44 000 vehicles covering 43 forces of England, Wales and Police Scotland. The Environment Agency, Fire Services, other emergency services, HMRC, NCA and Border Force nationally and independently operate a large Fleet of vehicles/require a route to dispose of seized vehicles. A compliant route to market for Vehicle/Plant/Disposal Services is needed for these Public Organisations. There is universal support from these groups for an aggregated and collaborative solution. The scope of Services includes the collection of vehicles/plant; the auction of vehicles/plant; the grading and recycling of vehicle/plant parts with these potentially being sold back to customers, and the complete destruction of vehicles. (For further details, please refer to the Specification attached to the ITT). Estimated sales value excluding VAT: N.B: The Value Basis below equates to the spend value by Customers on the Framework. Dispose of End of Life Vehicles and Plant by Auction and Processing Services. Lot 2 covers the disposal of vehicles by breaking into saleable parts and providing scrapping services for any residual parts. Lot 3 covers the disposal of vehicles by offering a brokerage service for the sale of multiple vehicles as is to third party buyers.
