Tender description

1. The Sciencewise programme aims to improve UK public sector policy-making around areas of science, technology and innovation through the use of public dialogue. The programme provides financial support (through a co-funding model) and specialist advice in all aspects of best practice in dialogue with the public to help Government departments and public sector bodies develop and commission public dialogue. 2. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (‘the Department’) is seeking to engage contractors with the right blend of public dialogue, science and technology expertise, and experience of working with Government under a new framework for Sciencewise. The roles within this framework will include providing dialogue expertise to the programme, and the conduct and evaluation of dialogue projects. The new framework will be divided into:: o Lot 1 to support the Department in running the programme by providing dialogue expertise, including all stages of the dialogue commissioning and delivery process. o Lot 2 to conduct (i.e. deliver) dialogue projects under the Sciencewise programme. o Lot 3 to evaluate dialogue projects delivered through the Sciencewise programme.
