1655/326/EML/CTI/17 Ultra High Integrity Counter Gravity Aluminium Furnace The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Ultra High Integrity Counter Gravity Aluminium Furnace on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire. Scope of Requirement The requirement is for an Ultra-High Integrity counter gravity aluminium furnace which has the ability to melt between 300 kg and 350 kg of aluminium with a maximum individual pour of 220 kg. It is envisaged all the equipment shall be surface mounted avoiding any special civil works. Tender Process and Documentation: This procurement is an EU open procedure carried out in furtherance of a Prior Information Notice: 2016/S 169-303511, published on the 2.9.2016. The University wishes to exercise its option to reduce the time-frame for the return of tenders in accordance with the Regulations ( Public Contracts Regulations 2015).
