Tender description

PURCH1210 For the operation, maintenance and repair of Lifts Installations at the University of Glasgow. The University of Glasgow is seeking to establish a contract for the carrying out of a planned fully comprehensive maintenance, repairs, call-outs (24/7) and enhancements to the lift installation equipment within the estates portfolio, during the period October 2015 to September 2018; with the option to extend for an additional 1 year period. The university has over 300 buildings and 100 lifts in a variety of locations including campuses at Gilmorehill, Garscube and Rowardenan where the University retains responsibility. The Lift Asset portfolio represents a large capital investment and the quality of maintenance provided has a direct bearing on the life expectancy and the satisfactory operation of the plant and systems.
