Tender description

Places for People are seeking expressions of interest from suitably resourced, qualified and experienced contractors in order to implement an Office Cleaning Framework for a number of its corporate offices within the UK. This procurement is being undertaken by Places for People the contracting authority for itself and subsidiaries. The successful cleaning service providers should consistently meet the standards required and will need to be able to provide a comprehensive cleaning service to meet the required specification for the Group. As such, Places for People wish to form an Office Cleaning Framework consisting of 3 top-ranked suppliers which will be utilised and owned by Places for People Group. It is intended that the top ranked supplier will provide the cleaning services of the 5 corporate offices by way of direct award, with further competition established by way of running mini competition processes with all three of the successful suppliers on the Framework. Places for People are seeking to appoint 3 providers of cleaning services to the Framework. Places for People will reserve the right to direct award to the top ranked supplier on the Cleaning Framework. Where conditions mean that further competition is desired, Places for People intend and reserve the right to run a mini competition process under the framework with the 3 successful suppliers. The successful suppliers will need to be able to provide a range of cleaning services to meet our varying requirements. This agreement will provide Places for People with the ability to purchase/schedule cleaning services at 5 of its' corporate offices throughout the UK (2 x London, Bristol, Milton Keynes and West Lothian). Places for People reserve the right to add or remove offices from inclusion, subject to agreed notice. The successful suppliers should adhere to health and safety and waste requirements and involvement of local suppliers in supply chain and agreement to KPIs.
