Tender description

An Alternative Provider Medical Services Contract for the provision of an Extended Hours Service, serving the Bracknell and Ascot population will now be extended to 31.3.2018. This is a pilot programme offering patients access to GP services outside of their core opening hours using funding from the nationally administered Prime Minister's Challenge Fund (PMCF). This is an extension of an existing pilot scheme offering patients in Bracknell and Ascot access to GP services at evenings and weekends. This service is aimed at planned care and same day access through a planned approach for patients who find it easier to access services outside of core hours. The extension will run until the end of March 2018, during which the CCG intends to run a full procurement for a longer term contract in the event the pilot is deemed successful.
