Places for People are seeking expressions of interest from suitably resourced, experienced suppliers to provide Decorating Allowances on a national basis. Places for People is a registered provider of social housing and is 1 of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK. Suppliers must be able provide an allowances scheme where vouchers/cards can be activated to varying amounts by Places for People and subsequently passed onto customers to use the vouchers to purchase decorating products. Suppliers must therefore have a national coverage of stores so customers can make purchases with their allowances or have a facility for online ordering with delivery to customers' homes. The allowances must be activated within 2 working days maximum, have security features in place to restrict purchases to decorating related products only, have the ability to be cancelled prior to redemption and balances unspent or returns refunded to the customer's card. Places for People are seeking to appoint a national provider of decoration allowances. The successful supplier will need to be able to provide a wide range of products and services to meet the requirements of Places for People, have experience in the social housing sector and have a considerable number of physical stores with national coverage to allow for voucher redemption by our customers. Places for People wish to form a Decoration Allowances Contract which will be utilised and owned by Places for People Group to award the contract to 1 supplier for a period of 3 years, with an optional extension of 1 year. Places for People currently spend approximately 50 000 GBP per annum on decorating allowances. The successful supplier should also adhere to health and safety and waste requirements and involvement of local suppliers in supply chain and agreement to KPIs.
