The aim is to provide a specialised programme and range of skills to support the effective delivery of a multi component, evidence based, tobacco control and alcohol de-normalisation programme across the whole North East region. contract is funded regionally by 11 of the North East local authorities via their Public Health Grants: The County Council of Durham. The Council of The City of Sunderland. The Borough Council of Gateshead. The Council of The City of Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Council of The Borough of North Tyneside. The Council of The Borough of South Tyneside. The County Council of Northumberland. The Borough Council of Hartlepool. The Borough Council of Middlesbrough. The Borough Council of Redcar and Cleveland. The Borough Council of Stockton on Tees. The aim is to provide a specialised programme and range of skills to support the effective delivery of a multi component, evidence based, tobacco control and alcohol de-normalisation programme across the whole North East region. This procurement is issued under an Open OJEU Process. The expected start date for the proposed contract is 1.4.2017. The expected end date for the proposed contract is 31.3.2020. The proposed contract is to be let with an option to extend for a further 2 x 12 months from the actual end date. The potential final contract end date where all extensions are taken would be 31.3.2022. Bidders must note that the annual contract value can only be confirmed for financial year 2017/18. This contract is funded regionally by 11 of the North East local authorities via their Public Health Grants. As such any reductions in the Public Health Grant for any Authority may directly impact the annual value of this contract going forward.
