Tender description

Dover District Council is procuring a 12-year management contract for the operation of the new Dover Leisure Centre (with provision to extend for a further 5 years). The contract will commence on 1.4.2018. A design and build contract for the new centre is being separately procured by the Council in parallel with the management contract. The new centre will comprise: — 8 lane 25m swimming pool with 250 person capacity spectator seating; — 15m x 8.5 m Learner pool (moveable floor); — 120 station fitness suite; — 2 activity studios; — 4 court sports hall; — 1 multi-purpose room; — 1 spin studio; — 2 squash courts; — Clip n' climb interactive climbing; — Small sauna and steam room; — 3G artificial grass pitch (2 x five-a-side); — Café; — Car parking with a minimum of 250 spaces. The contract also includes the interim management of the current Dover Leisure Centre for a 12-month period until the new centre is ready.
