Tender description

Provision of: — Building/Facilities management consultancy support on an intermittent basis through the latter design stages of construction and commissioning. — The Mobilisation and transition stage. — ‘Hard’ and ‘soft’ Facilities Management (interim and full service) to the communal areas within the residential blocks together with ‘hard’ Facilities Management to Schools (Mandatory Core Services) co-located within the Nile Street and Tiger Way developments. — Additionally there is scope for the provision of soft Facilities Management to the Schools (Mandatory Optional Services). — Reactive maintenance — additional fee based on time charge schedule of rates submitted as part of the Service Provider's proposal. One Service Provider will provide the Services to both developments under two discrete contracts, one at Nile Street and the other at Tiger Way. TUPE may apply. Hackney Council wishes to appoint a single Service Provider which will represent it on every aspect of a quality day-to-day hard and soft facilities management service associated with 2 developments. The Nile Street development will encompass a college school and 175 apartments. The Tiger Way development will incorporate a 2-storey primary school and 89 apartments. Note that TUPE may apply. The Mandatory Core Services scope includes Hard and Soft FM to communal areas, common plant, equipment and infrastructure, estate-wide services to all shared external areas together with Hard FM to the schools for the building envelope. Additionally, there is an optional Soft FM service to both schools. Hard FM Services e.g. Building fabric, heating and air conditioning, decorations, lifts and escalators, fire safety systems, plumbing and drainage. Soft FM Services e.g. cleaning, waste disposal and recycling, security, pest control, handyman services, grounds maintenance, concierge.
