**THE CLOSING DATE FOR THIS TENDER IS 23rd FEBRUARY 2017, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY DIRECT TO THE BUYER** The Homes and Communities Agency have engaged a specialist environmental and engineering consultancy (CH2M) to provide support regarding certain activities to understand the current status of the Redcar Steelworks site. CH2M will provide preliminary estimates of certain decommissioning and demolition costs that can be used in the financial model to the successful supplier. Employees of South Tees Site Company Limited will be available to share their knowledge of the Site and provide preliminary estimates on certain other costs for the financial model. A financial model and business plan for South Tees Site Company Limited has already been prepared and this contains estimates of the cost of forthcoming 'Keep Safe' activity. The main output of the work will be developing a new financial model with multiple scenarios (and will be included in a wider business plan for STDC), which will need to be approved by the Mayor once elected.
