Tender description

IÉ is seeking tenders by suitably qualified companies for the supply of piled rubber springs and rubber seat primary suspension required for Irish Rail's 22000 Intercity DMU fleet. There are 234 carriages in the 22000 fleet; each carriage is fitted with 16 piled rubber springs (8 per bogie). The springs and suspension will be changed out as part of a bogie overhaul approximately over the next 4 years. Both items are safety critical components.
