Tender description

The Council requires a FMIS and CM system(s) and Hosting Service to provide integrated and flexible functionality to support all aspects of financial and budgetary management required by a modern Local Authority working in partnership with other agencies. Ideally the system(s) / solution should be integrated and web enabled and operates to improve the Council's efficiency in processing financial transactions and provide the means for efficient interfaces to other Council systems. The system(s) / solution must comply with all relevant United Kingdom and European Union legislation, the CIPFA/LASAAC Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting in the United Kingdom and the Service Reporting Code of Practice. Where relevant, the system / solution must be Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant. The provision of a Finance Management Information System (FMIS) including Cash management (CM) and Hosting Service. The contract is for a period of 7 years, with the Council having an option to extend for a further period of up to 3 years.
