Provision of Managerial, Staff Training and Development

Tender description

The purpose of this Request for Tenders (‘RFT’) is to appoint a single supplier to work with the Board’s Human Resource Manager to develop: - a structured induction programme for new and promoted employees, this will be delivered by the Board’s Human Resources Manager and other specialist areas (i.e. Finance, Corporate Services, FOI officer, Union Representatives, etc.) - and devise a learning and development policy based on the Board’s competency framework for staff and management (working closely with the HR Manager) - in partnership with the Board, preparation for National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) Excellence through People (ETP) accreditation (it is anticipated this would be three days over 12 months).The Board received ETP accreditation under FÁS in 2009. Under the new NSAI Model of ETP, the Board wish to review the current human resource systems to maximise employee contribution and align the Board’s people practices with the Board’s strategic goals. 1.2.2 In addition to the preceding paragraph modules which the Board requires to cover are the following: 1. Performance Management Training and the facilitation of an Appeals Process under PMDS 2. General Management Training 3. Mentoring 4. Leadership Skills Programme 5. General Competency Development
