Tender description
The PMO requirement is based upon the ongoing need to seize the opportunities presented through the current and future Defence transformation activities. The PMO is required to assess the identified capability gaps arising from Army plans, providing solutions and opportunities according to the criteria used, namely; assured military competence, assured technical competence and Value for Defence (VfD) The TSF concept seeks to fill Army capability gaps with a blend of Regular, Reserve, Sponsored Reserve (SR) and contractors to achieve the mandated output. This enables a pre-planned force mix to be generated at a lower cost per unit of capability than the previous structure. As the TSF has matured, additional opportunities to achieve Value for Defence and reduce costs to the Army TLB have been identified and investigated.
