Student and Academic Administration Transformation Programme — IT solution. To fulfil its development and growth targets, and to improve services for students and staff, the University needs to transform its administrative processes and systems. As well as a significant programme of business change, this may require replacement of the current electronic Student Record System. The University is seeking early engagement with potential suppliers in order to understand the capabilities of the market, and how best to engage the market in any subsequent procurement for an IT solution to replace the current Student Record System. The University conducted a similar market sounding exercise in 2015. However, since then the programme has been more clearly defined and business requirements more fully explored. The University has accordingly drawn up a detailed Request for Information (RFI), which provides further details on the programme, and requests information from suppliers on their products and services, and associated delivery aspects. The University may use the information obtained to inform its thinking with regard to its requirements, procurement strategy and business case, and to prepare subsequent tender documentation. The information provided will not guarantee inclusion on any short-list that may be subsequently generated should the University opt to proceed with a full procurement. The University intends to conduct this procurement by following the procedures laid down in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. If you are interested in participating please download the RFI document from the In-Tend system (instructions below), which includes further detail on the programme and its requirements, together with instructions for participating and a response questionnaire. The University reserves the right to invite suppliers to a face to face meeting where necessary to clarify aspects of their RFI response. It is envisaged that any such meeting will be convened between 11.4.2016-13.4.2016. Suppliers are requested to provide responses to the questionnaire in the RFI document by 12:00 on Monday 21.3.2016 (as detailed in the RFI document).
