Tender description

The object of the contract is to provide UK Sport, the English Institute of Sport (EIS) and the National Governing Bodies of World Class Programme (WCPs) for Olympic and Paralympic sports with non-exclusive sports performance data for all Olympic and Paralympic sports and disciplines, in current and historic competitions, on an agreed complex data table structure. The relevant data will be used by UK Sport, EIS and WCPs in the analysis, manipulation, interpretation and communication to sports in order to make strategic investment decisions. The service requirement specifically focuses on a data feed, the collection, cleansing, matching, structuring of data across all Olympic and Paralympic sports and disciplines, for both current and historical competitions. The services are for the delivery of historical and ‘live’ sports performance data across all Olympic and Paralympic sports (including individual disciplines within such sports). This covers all relevant international competitions at youth, junior and senior levels from: continental championships, world cups, regional games, (including equivalent competitions), world cups and championships, Commonwealth games, Olympic and Paralympic Games. Competitions that lead to Olympic and Paralympic qualification are also to be included. The service requirement specifically focuses on a data feed, the actual collection, cleansing, matching, structuring of data across all Olympic and Paralympic sport, for both current competitions as well as historical ones.
