Tender description
Construction work. Building construction work. Construction work for multi-dwelling buildings and individual houses. Southern Housing Group (SHG) (the "Authority) is about to embark on re-procuring construction contracts in connection with its "Stock Reinvestment Programme" (SRP) geared towards improving its housing assets and improving the lives of its tenants. The SRP involves spending in the region of 16 000 000 GBP per annum and typically includes the following types of work: External component renewals, including roof replacement, window and door replacement and other external components; Internal component renewals including kitchen and bathroom replacement, electrical re-wiring and boiler replacement. In addition, the Authority undertakes planned cyclical works which involves the external repair and redecoration of its assets as well as improvements to external and amenity areas. The Authority is undertaking a "Soft Market Test" to find out from the market how best to deliver its ambitious SRP over the next 10 years. The "Soft Market Test" will cover areas such as contract packaging, delivery models, forms of contract, pricing models, incentivisation, social value and innovation. Any organisation or group of organisations (acting in a consortium) may participate in the "Soft Market Test" on the basis that they would be able to provide all of the required services. Following the "Soft Market Test" selected respondents will be invited to participate in further 1-2-1 meetings with the Authority to explore in more detail some of their responses to the "Soft Market Test". Respondents who are interested in participating in this "Soft Market Test" should register their interest by completing the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/SHG_Soft_Mkt_Test. Details of how to respond to the survey are provided at VI.2 — Additional Information. Those who are invited to participate in the 1-2-1 meetings will be provided with further information when the survey closes. Finally, if you have any questions in relation to this opportunity, please raise these formally via the message function within Delta. Please do not contact the authority directly in connection with this soft market test. Respondents should follow the instructions set out in this notice and within the survey questionnaire.
